New Features
Google Cloud Platform Toolkit
Agents and workflows can now connect to Google Cloud Platform using service-account credentials. This adds support for common cloud operations such as querying BigQuery data, inspecting datasets and tables, working with Cloud Run services, interacting with Cloud SQL, and making advanced Google Cloud requests from workflows. A new guided GCP configuration experience is available in the agent builder, with credential validation and tool selection so teams can choose which cloud actions an agent is allowed to use.Freshservice Toolkit
EKB now supports Freshservice automation for IT service management workflows. Teams can connect Freshservice using their service desk URL and credentials, then enable tools for ticket creation, ticket updates, ticket search, requester lookup, conversations, notes, replies, groups, agents, and custom Freshservice actions.Team Info Toolkit
Agents can now answer questions about project team membership, such as who a team member is or how many people are on the team. The experience is scoped to the project team and is designed to avoid exposing sensitive administrative, billing, authentication, or password-related fields. A new Team Info configuration panel helps admins connect the right project team before enabling the capability.Airtable Workflow Toolkit
The V2 workflow builder now includes Airtable support with personal access token authentication. Workflows can discover bases, tables, and fields, then create, find, update, and delete records. File attachment upload and advanced Airtable actions are also supported.Workflow Failure Email Notifications
Workflows can now send email notifications when an execution fails. Admins can configure recipients at the workflow level, choose team members from the UI, and enable or disable failure alerts per workflow. The notification includes workflow details, the error message, execution context, and a link back to the failed run when available. EKB also limits repeated alerts for the same workflow so recipients are not flooded by duplicate failure emails.Public Chatbot Tool Calls
Public chatbots can now optionally run approved tools and workflows. This gives teams a way to expose guided actions to website visitors while keeping the capability controlled by project settings, rate limits, and audit visibility. This capability is opt-in and should be enabled only for public chatbot experiences where tool use is expected and appropriate.Locked-Down Viewer API Keys
Project API keys can now be created with viewer-level access. Viewer keys are limited to chat and read-only use, while privileged keys continue to support broader project actions. The API key creation flow now clearly distinguishes locked-down viewer keys from privileged keys, helping teams issue safer credentials for read-only integrations.Team Member Deactivation
Team admins and owners can now deactivate and reactivate team members. Deactivated users are blocked from accessing the product, and status changes are recorded in team and user audit history with actor and target details.Enterprise Audit and Security Enhancements
Enterprise administrators get a broader and clearer audit experience:- SSO configuration changes are recorded in audit history.
- User deletion events are captured more reliably.
- Security logs have improved filtering and export behavior.
- Audit exports better reflect the viewer’s local timezone.
- Super Admin audit and security views are reorganized into a more consolidated experience.
- Migration history is easier to review and inspect from the admin interface.
Skill Curator
A new Skill Curator system skill can help agents create and refine reusable skills. This makes it easier for teams to build structured skill libraries on top of the Skills experience introduced in 2.0.1.Additional Web Search Provider Support
EKB can now use Tavily as an alternate web search provider. Existing web search behavior continues to work, while deployments can choose the preferred provider and fallback behavior.Manual Trigger User Context
Manual workflow triggers can now expose richer user context to the variable picker, including user email, name, tags, metadata, and approved identity-provider fields. A new sample user info panel helps workflow builders preview and use this context more easily.Smart Table Credit Visibility
Smart Table credit usage is easier to understand across extraction, autofill, agent-powered columns, and test actions. Usage details now include helpful context such as operation type, model, table, column, row, and token details. When credits are insufficient, Smart Table actions show clearer guidance so teams know what happened and how to continue.Smart Table File Upload and Preview
Smart Tables now have a stronger file experience:- Upload files directly in table cells.
- View upload progress and validation feedback.
- Preview documents and images inline.
- Use richer file cells for Knowledge Base-connected files.
- Re-run extraction from file cells when needed.
Evaluation History
Evaluation runs are now saved for later review and comparison. Teams can inspect previous evaluation results and drill into individual runs.MCP Server API Key Authentication
The MCP Server setup experience now supports API-key authentication through request headers, in addition to OAuth and no-auth setups. New Relic is also available as a quick-add MCP server with region selection.Super Admin Navigation Improvements
Super Admin now has collapsible sidebar groups, clearer icons, better active-page highlighting, and a resizable sidebar that persists between sessions.Chunk Enrichment Model Controls
Super Admins can restrict which models are available for chunk enrichment. If a user selects a model that is not allowed, EKB now rejects the selection with a clearer message.On-Premise CORS Controls
On-premise deployments can opt into a stricter allowed-origin list for browser requests. Primary application URLs are included automatically, reducing setup mistakes.HTTP Step Improvements in V2 Workflows
The HTTP step in the V2 workflow builder now supports more request body options, including form URL-encoded data, typed form fields, and file values. JSON and raw text editing have also been simplified.Improvements
Realtime and Streaming Stability
Realtime updates are more resilient when a browser tab, network connection, or client becomes slow or stale. EKB is better at dropping stalled realtime listeners without blocking updates for active users. This improves workflow status updates, chat streaming, tool execution updates, and other realtime views.Smart Tables and SQL Tools
Smart Tables and SQL tools received several accuracy and usability improvements:- Table listing and table description actions now respect row limits.
- Chart aggregation handling is more forgiving and consistent.
- Smart Table error messages are clearer, especially for insufficient credits.
- Large Smart Table datasets are handled more conservatively to improve reliability.
Toolkits and Integrations
Integration improvements include:- Google Calendar now uses the calendar account timezone automatically and handles natural-language dates more reliably.
- API request headers and values are validated more clearly before sending.
- Older workflow references to API toolkit actions resolve more reliably.
- SharePoint OAuth callback handling works better behind stricter load balancers and proxies.
- Datastore credential references are recognized more consistently in nested settings.
- Claude Opus 4.7 requests avoid unsupported temperature settings across additional provider paths.
- Custom script toolkit input handling is improved.
- Google Drive OAuth supports the staging redirect flow.
Admin, Billing, and Permissions
Admin and billing improvements include:- Credit breakdowns now show cached token usage when applicable.
- Smart Table credit usage is attributed more clearly.
- Super Admins can no longer impersonate blocked users.
- License renewal forms no longer pre-fill bonus credits with a non-zero value.
- Billing banners show clearer usage and recharge or upgrade guidance.
Security and Reliability
Security and reliability improvements include:- PII masking no longer produces duplicated brackets in rendered responses.
- Large workflow trigger payloads are handled more reliably to avoid oversized message failures.
- File handling received additional path traversal and extension validation hardening.
- Tracing and observability settings behave more predictably when disabled.
- Auto-confirm workflow actions retain their settings during project export and import.
