The API Keys tab on the EKB platform serves as a tool for you to manage secure access for integrating external applications and automating tasks. This feature provides a streamlined interface where you can generate and manage API keys, which are essential for authenticating and facilitating seamless communication between EKB and other services. Within the API Keys tab, you can view a list of all their generated keys, each accompanied by details such as the key’s name, creation date, and management options. This setup ensures that you can easily identify and control your API keys, enhancing security and efficiency. The API Keys tab also offers direct access to comprehensive documentation, providing setup instructions, example requests, and best practices for secure usage. API Key List

The main section displays all API keys generated by the user. Each entry includes:
  • Name – The name assigned to the API key for easy identification.
  • Key – The actual API key string used for authentication (partially hidden for security).
  • Date Created – The date and time the key was generated.
  • Action – Options to manage the key, such as deleting it when it’s no longer needed.
⚠️ If no API keys have been created yet, this section will appear empty.

Create New Key

The + Create Key button in the top-right corner allows you to generate a new API key.
  • Provide a name for the key.
  • Save the generated key securely, as it may not be shown again in full.
  • Use this key to connect EKB with other applications or services.
