The Members tab allows you to manage and add members to your project, as well as export a list of your project’s members. The access levels available on this tab are controlled in the Roles page.
Only users with appropriate permissions can add or remove members. Project admins have full access to member management.

Add Member

The Add Member feature enables you to invite people to your project by sharing a link that grants them access with the role you assign, or by email. People you invite via email will receive an email notification and an in-app notification when they log in informing them they’ve been invited to your project. Select the Add Member button and use one of the following methods to invite new members:
  1. Generate Invite Link: Select a role, then select the Copy Link button to copy an invite link to your clipboard. Anyone who uses the link will automatically be added to the project with the role you selected when creating it.
  2. Invite by Email: Enter an email address, select a role from the dropdown, then select the Send Invitation button. Select the plus icon to the right of the role dropdown to add more than one person at a time.

Modify Member Permissions

  1. Find the member whose record you want to modify by browsing or using the search feature.
  2. Select the Access dropdown on the member’s record and select the role you want to assign them.

Remove a Member

  1. Find the member whose record you want to remove by browsing or using the search feature.
  2. Select the Access dropdown on the member’s record and select Remove.
  3. Select the Remove button in the Remove Member confirmation popup to remove the user’s access to your project.
After completing these steps, the user will no longer have access to your project but will retain access to any other projects they are a member of. This action does not delete their account.

Export a List of Members

The Export feature produces a CSV file with additional details about the members of your project, including user ID, name, email, team ID, pending status, role ID, role name, the ID of the person who invited them, whether they were invited by email, and their last sign-in date.

Best Practices

  1. Role Management: Apply the principle of least privilege when assigning roles.
  2. Member Review: Regularly review and remove inactive members.
