The History tab provides a complete record of chat interactions that have taken place within your project. You can search, filter, group, and export the history log for review or analysis.
History Log
The log displays chat messages in reverse chronological order with the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|
| User | The email of the member who sent the message. |
| Created | The date and time the message was sent. |
| Chat Message | A truncated preview of the message content. |
| Role | The role of the member who sent the message. |
| Documents Used | The number of Knowledge Base documents used to generate the response. |
Clicking any row in the log will take you to the corresponding chat window, where you can review the full conversation.
Filtering and Navigation
Search
Use the Search user field to filter the log by member email.
Filters
Select the Filters button to apply additional filters:
| Filter | Description |
|---|
| Document Count | Filter records by the number of documents used in the response. |
| Chat Message | Search for records containing specific keywords within the chat message. |
Select Apply Filters to apply, or Clear to reset.
Group By
Use the Group by dropdown to group records by time period:
| Option | Description |
|---|
| None | No grouping — all records listed chronologically. |
| Day | Group records by day. |
| Week | Group records by week. |
| Month | Group records by month. |
Date Range
Use the Select date range button to scope the log to a specific time window.
Refresh
Use the refresh icon to reload the log with the latest data.
Exporting History
Select the Export dropdown to download the history log in your preferred format:

| Export as XLSX | Preserves formatting. |
