The Google Forms toolkit lets agents get form structure, list forms (via Drive), read responses, create and update forms, and add questions. Authentication is per-user OAuth — each user connects their own Google account. Add it on the agent Toolkits tab. The first use prompts the user to connect Google if they have not already. Forms shares the Google Workspace OAuth connection with Gmail, Drive, Docs, and related Google toolkits.

Prerequisites

  • A Google account with access to the Forms the agent should use
  • An agent you can edit
  • Google OAuth configured for your organization (admin)
  • Users who will chat with the agent must complete the Google OAuth connect flow when prompted (include Drive access if you need List Forms)

Setup

  1. Open the agent → Toolkits → add Google Forms.
  2. Save the agent. In Chat, connect Google when prompted.
  3. @-mention Forms tools in the personality prompt for survey create/read tasks.

Use cases

  • Summarize responses for a feedback form
  • Create a short quiz or intake form from chat
  • Add follow-up questions to an existing form
  • Look up a form by ID when Drive listing is unavailable

Tips

  • List Forms needs Drive readonly scope — pass a form ID or reconnect with Drive if listing fails.
  • Prefer form IDs from the Forms URL or List Forms for response tools.
  • Access is limited to what the connected Google user can open.
