The ElevenLabs toolkit lets agents convert text to speech using ElevenLabs. Authentication uses an API key saved as a connection. Add it on the agent Toolkits tab and create or select an ElevenLabs connection.

Prerequisites

  • An ElevenLabs account and API key
  • An agent you can edit

Setup

  1. Create an API key in the ElevenLabs dashboard.
  2. Open the agent → Toolkits → add ElevenLabs.
  3. Create a connection and paste the API key.
  4. Save the agent. @-mention text-to-speech when the agent should generate audio.

  • Generate spoken versions of summaries or scripts
  • Produce audio previews for content workflows

Tips

  • Store the API key in a saved connection — do not put it in the personality prompt.
  • Keep input text reasonably sized for interactive use.
