Give an agent live Confluence access — list spaces and pages, read and write page content, search with CQL, and work with attachments and comments. This is separate from syncing Confluence into the Knowledge Base.

Prerequisites

  • Permission to edit the agent
  • A Confluence account connection available to the agent (personal and/or team, depending on how your workspace is set up)
  • For Cloud OAuth, complete connection when prompted; Super Admin / integration setup may be required in some deployments

Configuration

  1. Open the agent → Toolkits → enable Confluence.
  2. Connect or select the Confluence account the agent should use.
  3. Under Select Tools to Enable, turn on at least one tool (required to save).
  4. Optionally set Default Space Key (for example PROJ, DOCS, TEAM) for operations that don’t specify a space.
  5. Optionally leave Require confirmation for create/update operations on (default) so the agent asks before creating or updating pages.

Available tools

These tools match the agent toolkit catalog: Enable only the tools the agent should call. Write/delete tools have real side effects in Confluence.

Use cases

  • Draft or update runbooks and technical docs from chat
  • Search Confluence and summarize hits for a user
  • Create meeting-note pages from a transcript
  • Read page content as context before answering
